Executive Director

Christina Ryder is a Conservation Biologist with over 15 years of experience in federal public service, bringing deep expertise in ecosystem stewardship and cross-sector partnership to her role as Executive Director of the FRA Global Foundation. During her tenure with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service — most recently managing the Delaware River Basin Restoration Program — she earned a reputation as a skilled connector, uniting government agencies, nonprofits, and local communities to drive meaningful and lasting conservation gains. Her background spans state, local, and nonprofit organizations, giving her a rare breadth of perspective on how mission-driven initiatives succeed at scale. Christina holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree from the University of Hawaii, and grew up with a deep personal connection to the natural environments she has spent her career protecting. She joins the Foundation committed to that same enduring mission — ensuring the people and places most in need have access to the resources and expertise that safeguard them.

Noah Ryder - Board Member

Noah Ryder, PhD, PE, MBA

Board Member

Dr. Noah Ryder is a licensed professional fire protection engineer and Managing Partner at Fire & Risk Alliance, LLC, with over two decades of expertise in fire and explosion dynamics, quantitative risk assessment, and performance-based design. As Chief Operating Officer of FRA Fire, he leads multiple offices with a focus on operational excellence and applied research, including extensive work in BESS projects, UL 9540A testing, and forensic investigation of major fire and explosion incidents. A principal member of NFPA 855 and contributor to multiple NFPA technical committees, Noah has dedicated his career to advancing safety standards that protect lives and communities. He is equally passionate about giving back — mentoring the next generation of fire protection engineers and supporting the Foundation's mission to expand fire safety education and research. Noah joined the FRA Global Foundation's board driven by a genuine belief that elevating knowledge across the industry is the most powerful tool we have for preventing loss.

Board Member

Scott M. Bryant is a licensed Fire Protection Engineer, Founder, and CEO of Fire & Risk Alliance, LLC, with over 21 years of experience in fire protection design, performance-based engineering, code consulting, and research across industries including aviation, oil & gas, government, and power utility. He began his career as a civilian naval engineer advancing the Ford-class carrier and Zumwalt destroyer programs — an experience that shaped his lifelong mission to protect lives through engineering excellence. As CEO, Scott drives FRA's global growth while championing innovative fire and suppression research that advances both safety science and the communities it serves. His commitment to service extends well beyond the office — from raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and equipping local fire departments, to investing in education and economic development in underserved communities. Through the FRA Global Foundation, Scott channels his technical expertise and passion for people into a singular purpose: building a safer, stronger world for the most vulnerable.
